Here's a little more about me.
I’m fascinated with proven methods for training our minds in ways that help us get what we want in work and in life. This fascination began in my junior year of college where I took a sports psychology class. At the time I was competing in Olympic-style Taekwondo, and I applied what I learned in that class to my training and competition, and experienced outstanding results. Later, I would go on to use these same techniques as a business executive and entrepreneur before deciding wanted to share this knowledge with others through coaching.
My weird philosophy.
I have an unconventional philosophy that guides me through life: “I’m always full of shit.” It’s proven that the human mind is incredibly fallible when it comes to knowing what it thinks it knows. We are beings prone to deluding ourselves into thinking we know how things are when we really don’t. So believing I’m always full of shit covers this. It ensures that I don’t ever think I am wise and that I’m always open to learning and correcting my inaccurate knowledge and perceptions of which there are naturally many.
What makes me proud.
I’m always proud when I can make a tangible, positive difference in someone else’s life. If it can happen through coaching relationships, great. That’s very fulfilling for me. But it can also happen throughout everyday life in small moments as long as I’m present and paying attention, and looking for opportunities to make a positive impact on someone.
What about my qualifications as a coach?
I have a B.S. degree from the College of Health and Human Performance at the University of Florida, and advanced certifications in planning and performance coaching. I also have other coaching certifications and specialist certifications in health and behavior change. I have also successfully owned and operated my own company, Adam C. Dudley Associates, LLC, since 2013
