Recently I received guidance that said I should not limit myself and go for it.
After I finished my forthcoming book, Clarity For Solos, I decided to look beyond just selling books to making a bigger impact.
I was already looking at National Entrepreneurs’ Month, November, as a publicity opportunity for the book launch and National Entrepreneurs’ Day, November 15th, as the official publishing date.
It came to me spontaneously that I should use the book for a charitable cause. One aligned with my mission of liberating solo and small business owners from the obstacles that hold them back from starting and growing their businesses.
Then I remembered the world of microfinance, which provides micro-funding to small business hopefuls to alleviate poverty, empower people and communities through entrepreneurship, and help the economy.
Surely there is an organization helping entrepreneurs with microfinance that’s in line with my mission and could benefit from a portion of the sales of my book I thought.
It didn’t take me long to select the organization I want as the beneficiary of the campaign.
The campaign I’m running to raise money for microfinance for entrepreneurs in America is called Buy a Book, Fund a Business (#BabFab).
The premise is simple:
$1 from the sale of every copy of my book, available now for preorder on Amazon.com, will be made available for micro-funding for entrepreneurs through Grameen America.
You can learn more about Grameen and the campaign here and enroll to support the campaign through social media here.

Carrie Scherpelz says...
"I can't say enough good things about my colleague, Adam Dudley. He's a joy to work with--uniquely gifted and absolutely reliable. Out-of-the-box brainstorms and big successes have resulted from our collaboration. In fact, I consider Adam a rare master of the give-and-take communication that is essential to effective teamwork. Best of all, he's willing to share his secrets with others through his Mindful Business offerings."
